I had to work today, so the children took my cell phone and walked the five plus miles to the library.

It was beautiful today - nearly 70 degrees, sunny, not too windy. The children took back roads so they would not have to walk along the country highway, and along the way, they saw this

And then they saw this

And they frolicked a bit

You're so silly - and you KNOW that you are - there is no retina-searing mid-region. Bad Girl! To think of yourself that way. Mentally slap yourself. And do it no more.

You are beautiful, that first picture - you look like one of the old paintings of a knight's lady, staring into the distance, waiting for him, serene and beautiful. I wish I could paint! All you need is a hunter green or maybe cobalt blue velvet or wool gown . . .

It was a beautiful day - I would have much rather gone for a walk with you than gone to work. : ( Oh, well, another time . . .
